Since 1954 our family leads the coffee house in the heart of Ortisei with a soigné Ladin flair and the characteristic gastronomy of the valleys in the Dolomites.
The story of the Cafe Corso began way back in 1954, when our grandparents Ida and Josef Mauroner inaugurated this building in the heart of Ortisei. At that time the main street of Ortisei, actually "Via Rezia" was called "Via Corso Umberto". That is the reason why the Cafe has been called "Cafe Corso".
